Lab Sudoku combines a changing Daily Challenge with personal statistics from completed puzzles. Daily play contributes to its own history and streaks, while the Statistics screen provides a broader view across your solving activity.
Daily Challenges#
Each date offers Daily puzzles at Simple, Easy, Medium, Expert, and Diabolical difficulty. Free players choose one Daily difficulty for that day; Premium unlocks every Daily difficulty.
The current challenge needs an internet connection once to download. After it is available on the device, you can begin or continue it like another saved puzzle.
Recent Daily Challenges cover the last fourteen days and can be filtered by all, in progress, solved, or bookmarked. Depending on its state, a challenge may be marked completed today, completed late, in progress, missed, or available to replay.
The Daily area tracks completed challenges, your current streak, and your best streak. Completing a challenge after its original date can preserve the solve in history while distinguishing it from an on-time completion.
Personal statistics#
The Statistics screen begins to fill after you complete puzzles. Its overall measures include:
- puzzles solved, average time, best time, and total solve time;
- current and best streak;
- solves this week and this month;
- favourite difficulty and difficulty breakdown;
- average mistakes and hints;
- flawless and hint-free solve rates;
- recent solve times and weekly activity.
Recent progress compares the average of your latest five solves with the preceding five and indicates whether your pace is faster, slower, or holding steady.
Community comparison#
Premium players can opt in to anonymous Daily Challenge comparisons. When enabled, Lab Sudoku shares one result per completed Daily Challenge containing completion time, mistakes, and hints used. Names are not shown; comparisons use community averages.
Sharing is optional and can be disabled. Premium players can also choose to share eligible past Daily results. See Lab Sudoku Premium for the complete feature list.
