Lab Merge is not yet publicly released. This page describes the current development build and is not a substitute for the final policy that will accompany a public release. It will be updated if distribution, diagnostics, purchases, or online features change the app’s data handling.
Data stored on the device#
The current build stores active and completed games, best scores, statistics, achievements, custom layouts, editor history where applicable, and preferences locally on the device. It does not require a Lunar Hut account and does not provide online game synchronisation.
Android backup and restore may include eligible application data according to the device and Google account settings because Android backup is enabled for the development build.
Analytics and diagnostics#
The current source records gameplay and feature events locally for development purposes. These events describe app actions and do not contain the contents of a game board. No active remote analytics or crash-reporting service is configured in the current Lab Merge application manifest.
Development or test builds may also produce ordinary Android diagnostic logs available through developer tools on the test device.
Custom board JSON#
Copying or importing a custom layout is initiated by the user. Layout JSON describes the board, terrain, starting values, and related rules. Review it before sharing, and avoid adding personal information in a layout name or other editable text.
Retention and deletion#
Local data remains until it is removed within the app, the application’s storage is cleared, or the app is uninstalled. Copies of layout JSON saved or shared outside Lab Merge must be deleted separately from the destination where they were placed.

Future changes#
A public version may use Google Play or other services for distribution, purchases, diagnostics, or optional features. Any final privacy policy will identify the services and data involved before those features are offered publicly.
