What Lunar Hut makes#
Lunar Hut currently develops:
- Budgie, a hands-on personal finance app for accounts, transactions, budgets, schedules, imports, backups, and Insights;
- Lab Sudoku, a calm and highly customisable Sudoku game with puzzle imports, Guided Hints, Daily Challenges, and progress tracking; and
- Lab Merge, an upcoming sliding-number puzzle that explores several rule sets, board geometries, and custom terrain.
Design principles#
Focus before distraction#
The main activity should remain easy to find and comfortable to use. Lunar Hut products avoid advertising and do not add attention-seeking mechanics simply to increase time spent in an app.
Useful customisation#
Settings should solve real differences in devices, eyesight, grip, workflow, and preference. Themes, board layouts, controls, data organisation, and accessibility options are designed to help the product fit the person using it.
Clear ownership of data#
Products explain what they store, which features require connectivity, and how backups, exports, imports, deletion, and optional online services work. Read the product-specific privacy and data pages for current details.
Documentation is part of the product#
Guides, release notes, troubleshooting, compatibility information, and privacy explanations are maintained alongside the applications so that important behaviour is not hidden behind trial and error.
